Principal

In addition to actively managing the organization, Darren leads the development and investment team as Managing Member, and Project Developer on behalf of several affiliated partnerships. Darren is also a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Sower Capital Management, LLC a sponsor of real estate equity funds, and Montage Builders, LLC, a midwest-focused general contracting firm. Darren’s ability to identify, seize, and maximize opportunities, and his intense passion for his work, guide the high-performing teams he is known for building. Darren began his career in commercial real estate at the Dial Companies in an analyst position he helped create in 2004. Darren would soon go on to lead the development of over $125 million of retail and hospitality projects throughout the midwest prior to forming ACCESS in 2009. Darren is a longtime member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Urban Land Institute and is a graduate of The Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, where he majored in Business Economics. Darren and his wife Katie enjoy raising their three young children close to family and support numerous philanthropic organizations.
